The course directors will oversee the course and lead 2 week research modules (see Course Structure and Research Goals). Faculty will lead 2 week instructional modules and deliver lectures. Visiting Scholars will be present for 1 week and will deliver lectures, discuss experiments with the students, and contribute to the intellectual environment of the course. MBL Liaisons are permanent or summer MBL scientists who will introduce students to research at the MBL, run laboratory demonstrations, assist students with experiments, and contribute to the intellectual environment of the course
