The National Science Foundation funds a number of Research Experience for Undergraduate internships at many institutions around the country.

The Boston University Marine Program offers Research Experience for Undergraduate and Marine Science Consortium internships at the MBL (Marine Science Consortium - participating colleges).

The Student Conservation Association, Inc. (SCA) website features Earth Work's JobNet, an online database of nationwide jobs for the environmental field, as well as updated information on all SCA programs including their volunteer and internship programs and the college career development program.
