Frontiers in Reproduction (FIR) expects the cost of attending our course to be shared among the student, their home institution, and FIR in a three-way commitment. We expect applicants to discuss this financial obligation with their home department or lab, and to request and secure funding for the cost of attending the FIR course. We also expect our students to realize some of their own expenses by providing personal funds as available.
Due to the generosity of our funding agencies, FIR is proud to be able to provide substantial scholarship awards. These are granted on the basis of need to admitted participants, including non-U.S. citizens. Financial aid awards may be applied to course fees, room & board, and/or travel expenses. FIR has typically provided financial assistance equaling up to 85% of course tuition costs.
Candidates wishing to be considered for assistance must complete the Financial Aid Information Section of the Admissions Application. Financial Aid awards information is included with admissions notifications.
Applying for financial assistance will NOT affect your opportunity for admission to FIR.
Scholarship requests are NOT a factor in admissions decisions.
